Don't Need Your Advice

I didn't think anything could drive me crazier than someone knocking on my door to instruct me on how I should worship.
You worship Christ your way and what I do is not of your business.

If you're not Christian, that's your business.
But the last thing I need is an Islamist group telling me how to worship Christ.

But that's what the Islamic Thinkers Society believes we Christians need.

In an article titled, "WWJD - What Would Jesus Do if He Were Here Today?", this radical Islamist group instructs Christians on how to properly worship the Muslim prophet Jesus.

Apparently Christmas is a pagan holiday. Now I believe most Christians realize that there are some aspects of Christmas that have originated from non-Christian traditions...such as a Christmas tree but what this group doesn't realize is that we aren't celebrating the tree or the day. We are celebrating the birth of Christ.

From the Islamic Thinkers Society:

"As the Christians, who will be celebrating a false pagan holiday called "Christmas" on Dec. 25, we the Muslims would like to address an issue which they might want to look into and consider."
"Both Muslims and serious Christians can learn a lot from Christmas, the annual celebration of the victory of paganism over the religion of Prophet Isa (Jesus Christ)."

Then after "teaching" us Christians about Jesus, someone who lived 700 years before the birth of the false prophet Mohammed, and the false origins of Christmas, they go on to address what Jesus would do if he were here today.

They address the following issues:
1. Poverty
2. Rape
3. Alcoholism
4. Catholic Pedophile Priests
5. Homosexuality
6. Beastiality

You know...most of what they are promised in their view of Heaven.

Here are a couple of excerpts:

"According to a 1996 summary of reported rapes, 1.3 rapes occur per
minute in the U.S., which is 683,000 a year. Since only 16% of all rapes are reported to Law Enforcement, the actual number of rapes per year would be about 4.3 million."

Are they actually stating that they care about women's rights?

"Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionists will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."

"The profane concept of secularism has given birth to a monster called capitalism together with its ugly features of freedom, democracy, liberalism and of course, exploitation of human beings. These problems arise precisely as a result of mankind abandoning the Islamic way of life and using his own mind to decide how to run his affairs. If indeed, the mind was capable of producing the same organization as we see in the universe, why is the ‘human’ world such a mess?"

"Muslims respect and revere Jesus."

"Today SODOMY, Tomorrow Pedophilia, What’s next? Beastiality?

"Societies in western civilization bear witness to this, and rape, murder and Homosexuality are products of the exploitation of mans needs and instincts."

I wonder what the media would have done if Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell had posted any of these pictures?

The difference between these clowns - AC - and clowns like Pat Robertson and Jerry Fallwell are that the later are serious political players.

They represent Vanilla Sam's wholesome virtue.

That is, when they're not supporting genocide in Iraq and in Palestine.

Or standing behind crack-headed evangelicals, pedophile priests, and Nazi Popes.

Doesn't the bible say something about taking the plank out of your own eye before criticizing the speck in someone else's?

Maybe you should worry about the deeply ingrained hypocrisy, racism, and homophobia among Christian Sky-Goblin Worshippers before you worry so much about how other people worhship their Sky-Goblin.

That might be a good post brooke..what would Mohammed do?
Of course his options would be limited since he would be in prison for rape and pedophilia.

it's a good thing for John Brown he can distinguish between a prophet of G-d and a madman with pedophilic tendencies.

John Brown the paragon of virtue!

Here's the contrast poop stain.

My G-d I can know personally. Allah is unknowable. In Christianity there is relationship. In Islam there is only submission.

Islam requires a strong adherence to good works. In Christianity it's only through the blood of Christ that we reach heaven.

Islam rejects Christs' deity in contrast to Christ's own claims.

Islam is a religion based on good works. Christians know that legalism will not save and that rituals are just that...rituals.

The quote that is so rapidly used by those who don't know the Bible is in Matthew 7.

There is a universe of difference between being discerningly critical and hypercritical. To be discerning is constructive, to be hypercritical is destructive. Later on in this chapter of Matthew the disciples are encouraged to judge who is a false teacher. In that place, a proper basis for making the judgment is given (not by trying to judge someone's motives, but by judging the fruits of his teaching. Quite easy to do when it comes to Mohammed there Brownie.

Furthermore John the Baptist pronounces judgement on Herod.

Stick to stuff you know Johnny boy...like where to get your next fix and how to remove the tattoo you got in prison.

EB said... "Islam is a religion based on good works."

Unfortunately, included in these 'good works' are hijackings, homicide bombing, beheadings, rape, and anything else done in the name of Allah.

Great comment EB.

AC I should have said Islam is based on works. Thanks for the correction.

Hey Johnny boy life is good for the mujahadeen in Somalia. The Union of Islamic courts ran from Mogadishu today....the ones that haven't been killed anyway.... typical pussies of jihad.

This is the same group that protested by burning and stomping on our flag in NYC, right?

If ther faith was so strong, why are they not trying to solve these issuess through peace not bombs and threats.
When you hear about Martyrs Brigades and sucide bombers to enhance your faith, you have serious issues, Dr. Phil can't cure that, only military grade explosives.
If CAIR and other hate groups really wanted to push Muslim and American differences aside, they would never have supported the flying imans. What is really sad about people like john brown and brethern, is they ave no true conpet of Allah or God, they no only hate. Which is the exact opposite. Rather pathetic are the likes of these cowards.

I read that article over at Islamic Thinkers Society (What a name!). Now, this is a minor point, but I noted the literal interpretation of Clement Moore's "A Visit from St. Nicholas." I have to wonder how much of the history of St. Nicholas ITS knows. See the article in Wikipedia.

Perhaps ITS should know about this little Arab proverb: "A goat for convenience, a boy for pleasure, and a woman for breeding."

For all their protests to the contrary as they try to link "the Abrahamic faiths," Muslims do not regard Jesus as the Son of God nor as the Savior who redeems us by His sacrifice and victory over death and sin. Rather, they consider Him to be one of the prophets; and of course, according to Islam, the latest and best prophet was Mohommad The Pedophile," the same fellow who DREAMED or hallucinated that he visited Jerusalem and thereby forever laid claim to it.

Muslims don't want Christians to butt into their celebration of Ramadan. They should keep their paws off CHRISTmas!

BTW, the Sermon on the Mount is often quoted by those who have next-to-nothing understanding of the doctrines of Christianity because they can use it to promote the social gospel or to denigrate the imperfect walk of Christians.

LOL.

I did an entire series on the Sermon on the Mount, all 3 chapters! There is a lot more to it than a few verses taken completely out of context. The biggest thing ignored is how a sin in the heart is judged as harshly as an action! Because sin starts in the heart!
Good thread!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Yes it is Steve. They claim to be a small group of 'peaceful' Muslims but they burn American and Israeli flags while threatening Israel with nuclear destruction.
Of course by Islamic standards they might really be 'peaceful'.

"muslims respect and REVERE Jesus"?

How is it then that the concepts of forgiveness, non violence and turning the other cheek are completely alien to Islamics.

Did these people actually come to your door, AC? I think I would go absolutely ballistic if they came to mine! Jehovah's Witnesses are annoying enough, but at least they worship the same deity. Last time they came by I turned the table on them, invited them in and told them all about my church without letting them get a word in edgewise. That was months ago; they haven't been around since. There is no way I would ever let this organization into my house, and I believe I'd be tempted to turn my watchdogs loose! If they're going door-to-door I may wind up in jail yet. :(

No...I was just using the Jehovah Witnesses as an example. I would never let this organization anywhere near my doorstep.
