You Say Obama, I Say Osama

You Say Osama, I say Obama

John Howard is correct. If I was a terrorist, I would be praying to Allah for a Democratic victory and even better..an Obama victory.

John Howard.."That great party, the Democratic Party of the United States, is the preferred party of terrorists"

The Oprah endorsed candidate, Barack Obama, introduced a bill that would see US combat troops withdrawn from Iraq by spring 2008.

His bill would require troops to start returning to the US in May and all combat forces to be back by March 31 2008.

Congratulations Dixie Chick! 5 Grammys

How does a group that’s not even nominated for a Country Music Award walk away with wins in all country categories for which they were nominated at the Grammys?
Nothing political in that.
No, Hollywood wasn’t trying to make a statement or anything.

The Chicks can’t hide their disgust at the lack of support they received from other country performers. “A lot of artists cashed in on being against what we said or what we stood for because that was promoting their career, which was a horrible thing to do,” says Robison.

“A lot of pandering started going on, and you’d see soldiers and the American flag in every video. It became a sickening display of ultra-patriotism.”

“The entire country may disagree with me, but I don’t understand the necessity for patriotism,” Maines resumes, through gritted teeth. “Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country… I don’t see why people care about patriotism.”

What the hell...even Jimmy Carter won a Grammy.

John Edwards Tolerates Anti-Catholic Bigotry, Vulgarity

John Edwards of North Carolina is a former United States Senator, the 2004 Democrat vice presidential candidate and a current first-tier Democrat presidential aspirant.

When it came to blogging and netroots coordinating, he hired two anti-Catholic bigots to promote his candidacy. When their bigotry was called to his attention, he chose to stand by his anti-Catholic bigots.

***Graphic language warning.

Just a few samples:
"And, needless to say, the Catholic church is not about to let something like compassion for girls get in the way of using the state as an instrument to force women to bear more tithing Catholics."

“What don’t you lousy motherfuckers understand about keeping your noses out of our britches, our beds and our families?”

"I believe [link to poll stating nearly half of Americans are unsure if God exists] is something for which President Bush can take some much-deserved credit, as long as he’s willing to share it with his wingnut Christofascist base."

"And I love the word cunt. I use it like it's going out of style, mostly when referring to my own or talking to one of my Brits (to whom the word is about as alarming as oatmeal). I love it specifically because it has so much power in America. I love it when some dude calls me a cunt intending to deliver the ultimate insult, and I can effortlessly take the wind out of his sails by replying, "Fucking right I am. Queen Cunt of Fuck Mountain, and don’t you forget it, son."

John Edwards has apparently decided that there is more to be gained by aligning himself with the cultural left than by standing on principle and firing the Catholic bashers on his payroll.

Allah Ahkbar!

he's (edwards) toast - even leftists who "claim" faith will now leave him in droves - otherwise are they really people of faith? no, they are not.

excellent post, a.c.

Sorry obob..there's more than plenty enough room for both of us when it comes to any of these subjects.
If I did sports, which you do at times, Marty Schottenheimer's firing would be my subject today.

Obama - maybe we'll be lucky and the Kennedy curse will get him.

Dixie Chicks - Most country music fans hate them. The award processes are obviously tainted.

Edwards - He is politically dead. That is the good news.

hmmm... I'm sure that you really despised Obama, Ducky.

Sometimes you remind me of a used car salesman...

The inexperienced Senator will go really far in 2008.

His only qualification is that he didnt vote to liberate Iraq like most other Democrats. At least it cant be said that he cant finish what he started. He has barely started his career in national politics.

Kerry's only qualification in 2004 was that he was a military "hero".

The Democrats are such ass-clowns...

LOL at Ducky's first paragraph!

Edwards is toast. He's handled the whole situation poorly, and as a consequence he will likely not make it out of the primaries.

The Dixie Chicks were given a handout by the political Grammies. If they were so darn good, they wouldn't need to cancel venues for lack of ticket sales!

Obama is going to go too far to the left. He's going to appeal to the extreme of his tent, and alienate everyone else.

"I had zero respect for Obama (D - Weathervane) but when he punched that pussy Howard in the face he registered."

That was classic..

Anyone catch the tv interview with Obama and his wife?

I caught a clip on the body language segment of O'Reilly last night. Easy to see who wears the pants in that family... damn!

MZ,

If anything Cindy Sheehan is an excellent actress.

Perhaps she really deserves an Academy Award?

Wasnt there a movie that was supposed to go into production about her?

Al Gore's documentary will probably win two Oscars. Can't wait to hear that speech.

I missed that Urban Infidel. Wish I had seen it. I had seen an earlier interview with both of them but I can't recall who did it.

Obama is a flash in the pan. Does anyone remember the media buzz surrounding Wesley Clark other than the Duck.

The problem with all the Democratic candidates and the reason for the wide swings is that nobody has given a person a reason to vote for them.

Obama's early numbers were the equivalent of a hyped new product
that does well in the first week but as you examine it it doesn't deliver.

Obama's most cherished campaign strategy is his LACK OF LEADERSHIP. Although he is strongly in favor of a troop withdrawal, he leaves the campaigning for withdrawal to Dems like Pelosi, Murtha and Reid.

He stays out of the partisan fighting so he can win the support of moderates, the key to the election.

In the 2008 presidential elections it would be fitting for the Democratic Party to nominate an inexperienced 1st term Senator, who refuses to take any REAL leadership in his party.

They are rudderless as it is. The Democrats have no plans beyond seizing power. It would be fitting that they nominate a politician who lacks the will to stand up for his convictions.
