Would Anybody Mind...
If we just skipped African history month this February?
I don't know about you, but I've heard about all I can take of Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., and of course Barack, Barack, Barack.
I mean, it's not really history when you only hear one side anyways.
It's really propaganda.
We don't hear about how Mandela killed his enemies with burning tires placed around their necks.
Uganda's Idi Amin doesn't seem to get much press. Nor does the current ruler of Zimbabwe, President Robert Mugabe.
Let's just take a break this year.
Maybe a Hispanic history month instead.
Just don't mention Fidel.

I don't mind, AC. I don't mind at all! How about a domestic pet day? ;)
As long as mutts are included!!
We shouldn't even HAVE a black history month. Try HISTORY month. Period. Color free.
'Try HISTORY month. Period. Color free.'
I agree...teach the GOOD & BAD.
Not propaganda designed to make a particular group of people feel good about themselves.
What could be more 'uncool' today in America than a working white man?
consider it skipped, a.c. - doesn't everybody? i go directly from january to two months of march - seems to me they never got february right in the first place...
they ought to rename it "barack mystery month"...jez sayin'...
The problem is you know so little about black history that the only negative examples of black history you can come up with are Nelson Mandela and current events. Way to go, dumbass.
