Right here in New York City(Jackson Heights, Queens), the Islamic Thinkers Society is spewing hate towards all non-Muslims. It goal? The ascendancy of Islam over all other religions and the return of the Islamic Caliphate. This group wants to implement Sharia law and establish an Islamic theocracy here in America.
This group has been associated with several New York terror related arrests and has also been tied to the 7/7 train bombings in London.
aIsn't it time to start profiling and institute 24-hour surveillance of this hate group? This terrorist organization needs to be put out of business before another major attack happens here in New York City.

You are 100% correct. This group is not afforded any rights under the First Amendment, and should be under constant watch.
Yet another reason to get out and vote GOP on Tuesday... Do we really want to rob ourselves of the ability to keep an eye on these vipers?

I hate to disagree with you but the First Amendment does cover this insanity. That being said members of this group should be watched by law enforcement and deported when they break the law.
We have an absurd notion about denaturalization. Communists and Jihadis who violate US law should be denaturalized and deported.

I'm with Steve. Especially when it comes to noncitizens in this country promoting hate. This group has PROVEN ties to the 7/7 tube bombings in London. How much of a stretch is it to assume that they would at least assist materially to any attack at New York subways?
I think we need to hear what these Islamic-SOBs are thinking. I’d rather see this on the MSM news and see Americans counter this hate-ideology in words and demonstrations.
I believe this group was also in the movie Obsession, recently on FOX. In that movie they were burning an American flag. I’d like to see a counter-demonstration where the Koran is desecrate with pork and stomped on.
If that happened I predict the police will arrest the demonstrator against Islam and people like Clinton and Carter will condemn not the flag-burner but the Koran-desecrators. But that will wake-up Americans.
There are times, I must admit, where I see stuff like this happening, it makes me want to take it into my own hands and silence them.

Living here in New York, I've been aware of this group for quite some time now. They claim their mission is DAWA, but they readily admit that any Muslim who converts to any other religion deserves to be killed as an apostate.

I know people in the Arab and Muslim communities in New York, but I've never heard of this group.
They could be exactly what they seem to be. But, the cynical side of me wonders if it's all part of some COINTELPRO type operation...let's fact it, it wouldn't be the first time the U.S. government did something like this.
Elizabeth...I don't see how you could not have heard of this group. They are very high-profile.

At YouTube, I did a search of "Islamic Thinkers Society." I found THIS ONE, in which a voice in a NY accent clearly states that ITS, as Muslims, doesn't give any allegiance to the United States of America.
I understand the importance of First Amendment rights, but really, this crap from ITS is too much. These people are advocating the overthrow of the government of the United States! Does Freedom of Speech really allow for that?

According to Wikipedia, The group is based in the largely immigrant community of the Jackson Heights neighborhood in Queens, New York City but operates in the wider New York area. They are in the beginning stages of moving their headquarters to the Rainbow District of San Fran, because they feel more comfortable there.

I took a look at the website. This group appears to be some type of fundamentalist Salafi group, from what I can tell.
It seems that ac and perhaps the rest of people here don't realize that not all Muslims are fundamentalists and Salafis.

Something has to be done about Islam in this country. It's horrible that these people are allowed to spew their filthy rhetoric! I cannot for the life of me understand why it's allowed, even under the cover of freedom of speech, because it is traitorous. I guess I'll never understand it.

Here's a nice little poll from the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research. It is one of many polls that have shown that the Palestinian majority supports terrorism.

The importance of this information is that Muslims feel that terrorism is a superior form of negotiation. There is no incentive to talk when you can attack unarmed civilians. Talk is reserved solely for negotiating Israeli concessions to appease terrorism.
