Comrade Kerry Shows His True Colors

At first I thought it was the usual cheap comment from a Presidential Wanna-Be when I heard John Kerry say that President Bush had lived in Texas but now “lives in a state of denial.”

Then, Mr. Kerry said: “You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

If this doesn't show the true difference between Republicans and Democrats than nothing ever will. John Kerry has shown his complete contempt for the US military. I believe this is typical of the Democratic Party. Make no mistake... this isn't a slam at the White House but a slam on our troops. Obviously Mr. Kerry doesn't have a high regard for those who wear this nation's uniform.

When Senator John McCain stated "Senator Kerry owes an apology to the many thousands of Americans serving in Iraq, who answered their country’s call because they are patriots and not because of any deficiencies in their education,” Kerry said that the criticism of his statements were from “assorted right-wing nut jobs.”

Sen. John Kerry defiantly and in no uncertain terms declared Tuesday that he would "apologize to no one" for statements made about education and American troops.

"Shame on them, shame on them," Kerry said of the Bush administration, which he charged is afraid to debate "real men."

Is John Kerry a "real man"?

How Can People Be so Dumb?

59 million Americans voted for this clown in 2004. That's slightly over 48% of those who voted.

John Kerry said "This war in Iraq is a disgrace."
I say that he is a disgrace.
If Silver Star recipient Kerry does begin even an undeclared presidential campaign, as the months roll by he will come under increasing pressure to announce that he won't seek re election to his Senate seat, which is also up in 2008.

After looking over your blog, it's obvious you are a bright guy who can write.

That's why I'm wondering why you don't understand that the Bush administration, populated almost 100% by draft and combat evaders, has totally screwed up a war that would have been won by now if the military had been listened to. Not to mention that Iraq wasn't a haven for terrorists until we stupidly invaded that country.

This former officer in the 101st Airborne, and life-long registered Republican believes there are great people in both parties, and tries to vote for them. But it's hard to do that if you're as angry (over whatever, I don't know) as you seem to be.

In other words, he's telling you that he's a total dumbass liberal dressed up as a Republican.

plenty has been said, planty has been posted (as always with your above quality input AC) but could this be the tipping point that finally allows Americans to see the light?

"there are great people in both parties"

Hey, no doubt. Same here in Canada: there are great people in both the Liberal and Conservative parties.

However, Kerry's comment was cheap. It belittles, demeans and disrespects everyone in the military who's risking their lives right this very moment in order to perform their duties in Iraq.

Life hiker, were you as troubleb by the Clinton crowd's evasion of the military. I will assume you are being honest about your service. However, I come from a military family and most disagree with your assesment.

The Democratic party has been infiltrated by far left Marxist types for years. One has to look at the antics of John " Gomer" Kerry and Charles Rangel who just always seem to side with our enemies.

The last good Democrat is Joe Lieberman who will beat the hypocrite Lamont. Lamont outsources
jobs in his business and is descended from a long line of Stalinists.

Sorry Life Hiker but Ed Koch and Lieberman are dinosaurs. The party of Kerry, Rangel, Harkin, Kennedy, Frank, Conyers has lost all honor long ago.

damn..I went to bed too early last night.
After the trick-or-treaters were done.. so was I.

Maybe you knew my father life hiker? He also was an officer in the 101st.
We were at Fort Campbell in 72-74, before going to Fort Leavenworth CGSC.

You claim to be a lifelong Republican but you don't seem to you care for Republican issues.
Iraq is but one front on the war.

Freedom Now has already given a comprehensive list of the successes that have been accomplished in Iraq. I couldn't have said it better anyways.
Obviously all is not well but as you admitted, Iraq has become a drawing for foreign terrorist.
Leaving now would be a massive failure. Their goal is to weaken public support an institute a "régime change" here in America.
I say stay and finish the job.
What other options are there?
We cannot be beaten militarily but we will lose if we lose our resolve.

And finally, while I respect your opinion, you don't know me so please don't try to be my psychiatrist.

Bwahahahaha!

John Kerry has grievously insulted out military and the families of our military. As one who had family members at Normandy, I don't appreciate this jerk's comments at all!

What a buffoon! Kerry just can't be a decent human being, can he?

I find it particularly funny that, being in the military, he would call military men stupid.

Doesn't say much for him, huh?

At 7:11 AM, Blogger American Crusader said...

No...it doesn't. Kerry let slip his true feelings about the military.
If I had to guess, I bet most of his fellow soldiers thought he was a snob and didn't have much to do with him.
Now his subconscious got the better of him and he revealed his resentment.

The Democrats are not happy! That makes me happy.

They worked hard for three weeks keeping a low profile then Kerry goes out there and blows the entire thing with one speech. The arrogant sob can't keep his stupid mouth shut. I hope the idiot keeps talking because he shows what the Dems are with every syllable. Kerry's always disparaged our troops. I detest this poor excuse of a man. I've detested him since Vietnam while he was running around the country disparaging our troops. He hasn't changed a bit... well, perhaps he has... for the worst!

I do have a very sincere respect for soldiers, although I don't advocate the Bush administration's decision to launch a mission in Iraq. John Kerry's comment really lacks nuances. As a politician, he could have certainly criticized the Bush administration's decision and finished his remark by saying that he does have a respect for the soldiers who are serving in Iraq, because after all, these soldiers are his fellow compatriots. It looks like Kerry is cowardly rejecting these people as if they were nothing to him.

Obviously, he didn't do it. Politicians can certainly share their sentiment with their people, but it's part of their responsibility to use measured words.

Anh,

Thats great insight, but there is something important here. Its not about slipping up and making a mistake when addressing the public.

It is about the contempt that our own leaders have for their troops in the field.

Our leaders are under the microscope 24/7 and deserve a bit of understanding of the fact.

However, Kerry does not have the best interests of our country at the top of his mind. Kerry and the leadership of the Democratic Party only want power and have consistently blocked the best interests of our nation in favor of their political ambitions.

When they say they support our troops and then turn around to say that the military is not an honorable profession (like Kerry and Murtha have publicly stated), the truth becomes clear.

When Kerry says that we should cultivate our alliances to build support for our foreign policy but then turns around and calls our allies the "Coalition of the Coerced and Bribed", then his true colors are revealed...

You guys should send John Kerry flowers! His stupid remarks kept the republican defeat to merely ugly instead of cataclysmic.

I'm a card carrying republican with a CPA, an MBA and two shotguns that I cleaned today.

I'm pissed that the national debt is up 45% during Bush's tenure. At least you young guys will be the ones to pay it off to the Chinese!

Any of you (Freedomnow comes to mind) who think Iraq is anything other than an intractable morass is using the same stuff that Rev. Haggard used. Even the best soldiers can't win a war when the civilians overrule the military leadership. And our guys are clearly the best!

Call me all the names you want to. I don't mind.
