The Fall of Great Britain

Hitler, Göring and the Luftwaffe were not able to do it. Even Rome at its height had to build a wall to separate the northern tribes of England. Hadrian's wall was the most heavily fortified border in the Empire. But times have changed.

This will surely be the most talked about subject on the blogsphere today. Have the Brits surrendered to Sharia law? If the following story is true, then the answer is apparently yes.

Police to brief Muslims before terror raids

POLICE have agreed to consult a panel of Muslim leaders before mounting counter-terrorist raids or arrests. Members of the panel will offer their assessment of whether information police have on a suspect is too flimsy and will also consider the consequences on community relations of a raid.

Members will be security vetted and will have to promise not to reveal any intelligence they are shown. They will not have to sign the Official Secrets Act.

I'm glad that they promised not to reveal any intelligence. Muslims are known for their sense of honesty and fair play. Unfortunately it appears that the British police has also decided not to reveal any intelligence.

The first panel, expected to consist of four people, will be set up initially in London. Tomorrow representatives from police forces across England and Wales will decide whether to make the scheme national.

Muslim groups have welcomed the move, which is understood to be backed by Sir Ian Blair, the Metropolitan police commissioner.

This week the Association of Chief Police Officers will discuss with MI5 and the Home Office whether to reveal to the panel intelligence information from the security service.

The idea came from the Metropolitan police and the Muslim Safety Forum (MSF), which works for better police-Muslim relations. It has been under discussion for two years and came to the top of the agenda after a police raid in Forest Gate, London, in June, in which a man was shot. Police were acting on a tip-off about a bomb. None was found.

My question is will members of other religious organizations be afforded the same rights as Muslims?
Has the British Parliament formally submitted to Dhimmi status?

I bet the IRA is quite pissed at this. Not to mention how happy the sensitive and religiously tolerant the Muslim iman who adovcate our demise. For a country that wrote the book on counteer terrorist measures, they dropped the ball.
I've recommended sending soccer hooligans after the terrorits, that'll get the UN's panties in a bunch

obob..I have been sick since I first heard this story on Fox News yesterday. Our number one ally has given in to Muslim pressure. Consultant Islamic leaders is one thing, but to run police raids in advance before an Islamic Council is surrendering. Even British citizens don't have the power that Muslim migrants now have.

The answers are no and yes. And it's dhimmi status of the worst type. Denial. The Moslem minority is treated as the majority, and it's still not enough. Nothing is enough.

Usually I like gestures of tolerance, but this is bizarre.

They are giving representatives of a religion oversight of their policing operations. This will set a legal precedent that they will live to regret.

I have no objection to sensitivity training, but they have gone too far.

I'm Orthodox Christian. Will they consult an Orthodox Christian panel before each raid? Bad example, not many Orthodox Christian terrorists running around pledging to God they'll murder Americans and Brits.

Is this for real? Will they consult the Islamic panel for the real serious terrorists they're hunting or just throw them some little fish to appease them?

There's no way you can secure the information you have on potential terror suspects with this bizarre plan. I find it hard to believe...

(from the article)
"Abu Izzadeen...apparently urged Muslims to wage holy war in Britain in an internet video downloaded by several thousand users from websites that closed down two months ago. The sites were linked to the Saved Sect, of which Izzadeen was leader and which has now been banned and disbanded. In the video he told his audience: “In the UK no fighting takes place yet, but don’t be fooled, the time will come to you brothers . . . fighting is so close at hand.”

Do you really need to consult an Islamic panel to discuss the merits of whether or not Izzadeen poses a threat?

Excellent points freecyprus. Why does the British police believe that this council will keep quiet about upcoming police activity?
I think they are playing into the hands of the Iman's. They are giving over their power to Sharia law. This is why the British need a written constitution.

I wonder though...if we may just get more information from the Islamic Council on the activities of certain people than information we give up

But then, it's assuming the Council doesn't tip off the people we're tracking...

Easy answer...would you trust an Islamic Council with secure information that the police were about to bust a major Al Qaeda/terrorist organization event?

My answer is no.

Good site FreeCyprus: What Extremist Are Saying...but are we going to alter our policies upon what Muslim extremists say about these policies?

In the end, all that matters is the results.

Did anyone see the rant on this on Glenn Beck's TV show tonight? It was pretty good.

Why on Earth do we warn the terrorists before we go after them? Ugh.

And the biggest atrocity of all? "NO GO" zones: little pockets of Sharia sovrenity.

Britain will get what they invite........sad but no ones fault but theirs..sigh.

There have been no go zones in France for US military personnel so seeing it come to Britain isn't much of a surprise. I remember being in Jamaica with the USCG and being told what areas were off-limits..same thing in the Bahamas.

Of course there are places here in America that I would not feel comfortable venturing into but the difference is that these are high crime areas as opposed to being kidnapped or killed over political differences.

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with New York City but when I was stationed here in 1985, Times Square was a prostitute zone and there were many areas throughout the city where it wasn't safe to go. It still isn't perfect, but under the last two administrations-Giuliani and Bloomberg-New York City has undergone an amazing transformation.

Dhimmutude! Don't offend the Muzzies.

Bit by big, Eurabia is advancing--and with few violent attacks.

The tribal mentality of Muslims unites them so that even the "moderates" will protect jihadists. Why can UK law-enforcement understand that? And here in the States, CAIR and the FBI buddy up. How stupid it THAT?

My question is will members of other religious organizations be afforded the same rights as Muslims?

No, because adherents of other religious organizations are not suicide bombers!

Hey AOW...good to see you.
You are absolutely 100% correct. This is a bloodless victory for Islam.
Where Caesar failed, Sharia law has triumphed.

AOW...that's another one of the problems we face with the extremists: they have created this aura of fear through violence whereby many of the "moderates" have kept quiet otherwise is off with their heads with the sword.
