Israeli's Right to Exist
What would have happened if Mexico launched missiles into the United States and then kidnapped two American soldiers after killing a number of his comrades?
Can there be any doubt to the response? But yet there are those who say Israel has gone too far... even as more missiles from Hezbollah strike into Israeli cities.
Israel operates on the principle that anyone who attacks it will pay a price and argues that, like it or not, this is part of what the Middle East is about. If Israel didn't follow this policy and allowed the United Nations to dictate its response than the state of Israel would no longer exist.
Israel has complied with every demand made by its enemies for peaceful coexistence. They have returned the Golan Heights. Gaza and the West Bank are now Palestinian controlled and even the Sinai Peninsula, captured in a war started by others has been returned. But still it isn't enough. Daily missile attacks have continued despite Israel's compliance. Their enemies have seen Israel's goodwill as a sign of weakness and have continued to press their main objective -- the eradication of Israel and its population.
Syria and Iran had orchestrated Hezbollah and Hamas's attacks. Everyday the Israeli offensive continues, they have threatened to join in but they won't. They know that Israel is fully capable of defeating both countries even as they make bold but empty threats. But the truth is that Iran has used Hezbollah and Hamas so that they won't be pushed to curb their nuclear ambitions. They hope to divert attention in the hopes of continuing its uranium enrichment program as the world looks elsewhere. It has certainly worked with the news organizations, I can only hope our political leaders aren't as naïve.

Lets hoping the IDF finishes the dang job once and for all AC!
Do you think that all the peace loving people remember that the only barrier to the the world peace was Israel's occupations of Gaza and West Bank?
Actually, I'm wondering if the MSM and Dems would prevent us from responding to an attack from Mexico. Or Cnada, for that matter.
Uniformed, armed men have been crossing the border into this country form Mexico for some time. They have used those weapons. Not one thing has been done about it.
I wouldn't expect too much if we were attacked. Not any more.
Iran will fund Hezbollah but won't spend a dime to pay Palastinian salaries.
Benning..unfortunately you may be correct.
Hell, thats not even a good comparison.
Rather, try a scenario where drug smugglers launch an attack on US territory, kidnap 2 US soldiers and then launch almost a thousand missiles against targets in the US.
